Falling backwards into the floor I’m not sure if I’m here at all There’s no way I could ever leave this town But I can’t stand it here anymore Oh but I, I can’t wait For you to shut that door I hope, not too late There’s only so much of you that I can adore Smoking silently watching on It’s easy to see from the outside What’s going on, who’ll be gone after the next few shots And who’ll be going home with you Oh but I, I can’t wait For you to shut that door I hope, you’ll do it soon There’s only so much of this that I can endure Day by day, I’ll be wasting away There’ll be nothing more to me than meets the eye When you’re empty as a glass no longer half full Well it makes it far harder to cry There’s no way that I could ever leave this town But I can’t stand it here anymore

Everyday 03:11
Is it better wondering how it could be, With all the things you wished but never could see Now they're gone and left you alone When you were young and thought it's never ending And all the things you wished were ever changing We could go and hide from all of the things you left behind But nothing's the same now, The years get longer while you'll still wonder How everything's changed, And how you feel on your own My, my, all the good things You've known as true have left you saying Bye, bye, to all the places You've known as real and now they're gone Change has come with everyday When you get older is it better knowing All the things you wished when you were growing Like will you fly and leave the weight of the world below But nothing's the same now, The years get longer while you'll still wonder How everything's changed, And how you feel on your own My, my, all the good things You've known as true have left you saying Bye, bye, to all the places You've known as real and now they're gone Change has come with everyday My, my, all the good things You've known as true have left you saying Bye, bye, to all the places You've known as real and now they're gone Change has come with everyday

Hazy 04:48
Where are we going? What are we doing today? Please make a decision now or this day will just waste away I’ve got too much time on my hands, I’m getting fed up with this lazy scheme I need to do something now, my motivation is wearing away Oh my, why must you be so hazy My patience is wearing thin My friend, although we’ve had our ups and downs The smiles outweigh the frowns What are we doing? Where are we going this week? I must admit that the forecast feels rather shit But the rain doesn’t have to be bleak We can still feel the sand under our feet We can laugh we can cry, and get real high Wig out in the morning and wave at the birds in the sky Oh my, why must you be so hazy My patience is wearing thin My friend, although we’ve had our ups and downs The smiles outweigh the frowns Cause we’re all on borrowed time We’re smiling while our insides are dying We’re running around like headless chooks Our morals are shook, But we’ll all turn a blind eye, yeah Oh my, why must you be so hazy My patience is wearing thin My friend, although we’ve had our ups and downs The smiles outweigh the frowns And I know, I know that I can be quite lazy But that’s okay sometimes Cause I know, that twenty years from now If we’re both alive We can run away We can try to stay Or just lay down in the sun

Tell Me 03:07
Each day and night, when I’ll be there You say a lie, without a care I’ll say it wasn’t you, Who lay me bare Let me down on my knees to see The things you do just tell me that it’s right And tell me that it’s you who’ll be here darling Tell me that it’s you, you know you’re right Tell me what has changed with every morning Tell me that it’s you If I should cry, you’d stand and stare And if I died, you’re out of there And tell me that its true You’re coming back Hanging round I don’t need to see The things you do Just tell me that it’s right And tell me that it’s you who’ll be here darling Tell me that it’s you, you know you’re right Tell me what has changed with every morning Tell me that it’s you And tell me that it’s you who’ll be here darling Tell me that it’s you, you know you’re right Tell me what has changed with every morning Tell me that it’s you And tell me that it’s you who’ll be here darling Tell me that it’s you, you know you’re right Tell me what has changed with every morning Tell me that it’s you

I was always thinking of ways that you could stay for a while Lie beneath the window, hiding from the man hanging round Thinking... Games where we we’re chasing, reveling in places we’d found Never could we face it, days when we we’re safe Just to cry without reason, and hope all our troubles behind In my mind We’re still fine Biding time Ah, how could this happen Ah, how could this be Ah, how could this happen Ah, how could this be Oh these different days They all just fade away While you’re trying to hide From the things you feel inside

Hold me now, Oh hold me now 'Til this hour Has gone around And I'm gone On the rising tide For to face Van Diemen's land It's a bitter pill I swallow here To be rent from one so dear We fought for justice And not for gain But the magistrate Sent me away Now kings will rule And the poor will toil And tear their hands As they tear the soil But a day will come In this dawning age When an honest man Sees an honest wage Hold me now Oh hold me now 'Til this hour Has gone around And I'm gone On the rising tide For to face Van Diemen's land
